This essence is a godsend for soothing my irritated, reddened, acne-prone skin. It helps to calm down and literally make the redness disappear on a patch of skin on the verge of a breakout. Since I have sensitive skin, it’s great that the essence only contains one ingredient, mugwort extract, which is a comparable ingredient to tea tree oil—for its antibacterial properties—and Centella asiatica—for its soothing and calming properties. The scent is similar to an herbal tea, which is refreshing to put onto my skin and absorbs quickly. I use this as my toner step at night for clear skin.

Consisting of a single ingredient, Mugwort 100%, the soft, thin and fluid texture quickly cleanse and detox sensitive skin. As a Korean natural herb, the mugwort has been widely known for treatments and detoxing effect. This is effective for treating acne, troubled, irritated skin.
